Grading Scale

FAQs – Grade Calculator

1. Can I use different max marks per subject?

Currently, the tool supports uniform max marks per subject. For varied weightings, scale scores to a common maximum before using.

2. How is the letter grade decided?

Grades are based on your calculated percentage: A+ for 90%+, A for 80–89%, B+ for 70–79%, B for 60–69%, C for 50–59%, and F below 50%.

3. Does the chart update instantly?

Yes. As you enter or change marks, results and the doughnut chart update in real time.

4. Can I add more than 12 subjects?

The current range is 1–12 subjects. For more subjects, manually adjust the ‘Total Subjects’ input.
